Gilles founded the Company in October 2004. He was previously Worldwide Managing Director of ubi.com, Ubisoft’s online division, responsible for the group’s online strategy and businesses.
Ubisoft built its success on a strategy of distributing development to multiple high-quality / low-cost international production studios. Gilles played a key role in this strategy by setting-up and managing the group’s studios in Shanghai and Beijing from 1997 to 2000. He and his team built these studios into the largest in China at the time, with more than 300 employees.
Gilles entered the gaming industry in 1995 as a Producer, after working 3 years in retailing and management consulting. Educated in France and the UK, Gilles holds a Master degree from HEC, France’s leading Business School.
