RETROSPECTIVE OF A GREAT 2016

Shanghai, China - December 30, 2016 - With the holiday season approaching, Virtuos ends 2016 on a high note!

2016 marks a new record of co-development releases for both consoles and PC. Titles such as Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy X and X.2 HD Remaster, Batman: Return to Arkham, and Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection represent a lineup we are proud to stand behind!

Last month, our mobile team at Gamesource Studio in Paris, has successfully released our new simulation game, Carbon Warfare. The Paris team delivered a game that provokes greater social awareness around the threats and consequences of global warming. Carbon Warfare is the first major mobile release with a provocative and satirical touch that aims to educate players about the deadly consequences of climate change. We are excited to see players react to playing with natural disasters, learning about carbon rich industries, and getting involved with community efforts to try and encourage actionable change through gaming.

Our art achievements for the year, include providing art for 6 out of the top 10 best-selling consoles titles in 2016, including the legendary Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Five of this year’s “IGN Best of E3 2016 Awards” went to games that Virtuos worked on, as well as the recently released Watch Dogs 2.

Finally, our Virtuos movie team produced top quality assets for 5 blockbuster films, including Captain America: Civil War and Warcraft. Topping off our amazing year in films, we are of course thrilled that the long awaited Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has recently released in theatres with 3D assets support from Virtuos.

After being a part of so many amazing projects across game developing, art and film, we can proudly say that 2016 was very rewarding! At that center of our success has been your constant trust and support, and for that we thank you!
