Shanghai, China – November 27th 2015 – Virtuos is thrilled to announce that Virtuos Group is now the world's largest user of Substance Painter, Allegorithmic’s renowned 3D painting software.  As part of the partnership between the two companies Virtuos has also successfully produced part of official Substance Database.

We began the process 3 years ago by creating a series of internal certificates (such as “Introduction to G4 Shader”) to help structure and facilitate the training of our artists.  To aid the transition to PBR, Virtuos deployed the use of Substance Painter on a massive, company wide scale.  With this, we ensured that our artists and teams would be ready and armed with the best and most up-to-date training available.  As such, we are now able to actively respond to our clients’ needs in the most efficient way possible.  To date, Virtuos continues to train artists on other PBR compliant tools to adapt to any existing pipelines.

In total, over 650 artists working on games using Physical Based Rendering textures have been trained with Substance Designer and Painter at Virtuos.
