NEXON AMERICA LAUNCHES HYPER UNIVERSE ON XBOX ONE, REMASTER AND LIVE OPS SUPPORT BY VIRTUOS

Singapore – August 2018 – Virtuos is pleased to announce that it worked extensively on the Xbox One HD version of Hyper Universe from Nexon America, which officially launched in August 2018.  

Virtuos contributed to Hyper Universe 's  adaptation for Xbox one using Unity, which dramatically improved its frame rate, taking advantage of the powerful hardware to deliver true 4k ultra HD with HDR10. In addition to producing the HD adaptation, Virtuos has continued its support for the game by providing support Live Operations and seasonal events for Nexon's acclaimed MOBA.

Hyper Universe is a faced-paced free to play action MOBA (also available on Steam). With a focus on 2D side-scrolling action, Hyper Universe creates a unique spin on the MOBA genre. The game combines action-packed gameplay with team-oriented strategies and has a cast of many whacky characters from across the universe.

In addition, the Virtuos team provided server capacity support for Hyper Universe 's  Global Launch across 35 regions and will continually support live ops and seasonal events. Virtuos' Live operation service pack for Hyper Universe includes:

  • Producing and adding new cosmetic skins
  • Producing new hero characters for the Xbox Store
  • Monthly event support
  • Code merging between PC and Xbox
  • Xbox Rewards

The company also upgraded the server and database security of the game and developed the real time server restructure to support Xbox Live Services integration.

2016年9月30日 中国上海 – Virtousは、スクウェア・エニックス社の『ファイナルファンタジーXII ザ ゾディアック エイジ』(PS4)の製作に参加させて頂きました 。2006年にPS2用ソフトとしてオリジナルが発売された『ファイナルファンタジーXII』をリノベーションし、PS4用ソフトとして生まれ変わらせたことはVirtuosにとってとても喜ばしいことです。 リノベーションの過程として、グラフィックはHDテクスチャーへとアップグレードしたほか、現世代の映像表現とのハイブリッドでポスト処理フィルターやライティングを改善しました。ゲームプレイの改善として、ターボ機能、オートセーブ機能、ロード時間の短縮やなどが挙げられます。
