Virtuos is proud to have worked in collaboration with Magnopus on Expo Dubai Xplorer, a rich digital experience for the Expo 2020 Dubai that allows anyone, anywhere to experience the magic of the event with friends, whether on-site or at home.
Our teams in Shanghai and Xi’an developed environment and character assets for the experience, aligning AR with real-world locations. The Expo Dubai Xplorer sent visitors on a journey to far-off places, treasure hunts through history and encounters with magical creatures. The event has set a new standard for accessibility and inclusivity to large events, expanding the World Expo’s vision of ‘Connecting Minds and Creating the Future’ into the virtual world of the metaverse.
