Singapore – April 2020 – Nintendo, manufacturer of the Nintendo Switch game console, has named the XCOM® 2 Collection as yet another upcoming title to be released for the Switch. Jointly developed by Jeux Firaxis and Virtuos and published by Take-Two Interactive, the XCOM® 2 Collection includes the critically-acclaimed XCOM® 2 strategy game, as well as four DLC packs (Resistance Warrior Pack, Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift) and the War of the Chosen expansion all in one package. The XCOM® 2 Collection will be available on May 29, 2020.

In XCOM® 2, players assume the role of leader of a guerrilla force tasked with raising a global resistance in order to overthrow the reins of a dominant alien threat. Utilizing a turn-based tactics system that has been the hallmark of all XCOM titles since the very first, players must win each battle using strategy and skill and work towards the ultimate goal of dismantling the alien-backed ADVENT and loosening their hold over Earth. In addition, research and crafting systems with unlockable upgrades and customizable units are also present to allow for a truly unique experience.
