Founded in 2008, Virtuos Chengdu studio is the group’s second ever development and production center in China after its Shanghai studio, launched with a start-up team of 15 staff and an office space totaling 900 m2 at the time. The following ten years has seen multiple expansions for the Chengdu studio in terms of office space and staff numbers. In 2018, an eventful year for Virtuos that included the raising of $15 million and the opening of a new headquarters and R&D Center in Singapore, the Chengdu studio expanded still further to accommodate 5,700 m2 of office space. In contrast, the new offices for Virtuos Chengdu in a 5A class building now covers an area of 6,000 m2, with enough space for more than 650 employees.
