We are pleased to share that both studios ranked above industry average across all three categories of HR Asia’s proprietary Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM):
- CORE (Collective Organization for Real Engagement)
- SELF (Heart, Mind & Soul)
- GROUP (Think, Feel & Do)
Out of all categories, Glass Egg secured the highest score in the GROUP category with an impressive 4.41 out of 5, surpassing the industry average of 3.99.
“At Glass Egg, we think and act on an employee-centric foundation. This award affirms that our employees feel the same and they place their trust in our organization,” said Nguyen Dinh Bach, Human Resource Manager at Glass Egg – a Virtuos Studio.

Since joining Virtuos in 2022, Glass Egg has continued to provide training and development programs for their employees, such as empathetic communication workshops for managers and cross-studio concept art training program for artists. Winning this award for the first time has served as a tremendous motivation for Glass Egg to continuously raise the bar.
Dinh Bach added, “We strive to ensure maximum employee satisfaction at every touchpoint, from their recruitment stage to when they leave the company. To achieve that, we continue promoting the spirit of inter-departmental cooperation, and encouraging multi-dimensional contribution and listening so every employee can develop in a safe space.”
Phan Thi Thanh Nhan, Human Resource Manager at Sparx* – a Virtuos Studio, shared similar sentiments. “The HR Asia Award holds a special place in Sparx*’s journey as it recognizes and validates our consistent efforts in creating a positive and thriving work environment. This is also the third consecutive year Sparx* has won the award, which serves as a testament to the effectiveness of our HR strategies.”

This year, the studio attained an outstanding score of 4.35 in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion category, surpassing the industry average of 3.92. The score is a great reflection of the efforts that the team has put in. Recent examples include Sparx*’s partnership with Gender Equality Across Industries (GEAI) to provide employees with gender equality training and a Women Game Changers interview series that features career journeys and unique experiences of female employees in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Nhan Phan added, “We plan to invest further in training and development programs and upgrade the workplace infrastructure so that our employees have everything they need to excel in their roles. We will also continue to implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the studio, and celebrate the achievements of our employees with an effective rewards system.”
As Vietnam’s largest independent game developer, Virtuos is dedicated to nurturing a motivated, skilled, and diverse workforce through training and equal opportunities. We aim to be a safe haven for our employees to unleash their full potential and collaborate on world-class projects, creating better games together.
