Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is the economic and innovation hub of Vietnam, a dynamic and bustling city that has been recently titled as the top place to live for expats. Vietnam itself is a rapidly developing country, its blistering pace of progress visible in every corner, and Sparx* – A Virtuos Studio is one such example.

Even before officially joining Virtuos in 2011, Sparx* was already making a name for itself as one of, if not the largest studio in Vietnam specializing in CG Art and Animation. Now, it regularly handles an extensive array of project scopes, ranging from crafting Concept, Level Design, and Game Cinematics, to creating Animations and VFX for AAA games and block buster movies and award-wining TV series.

Some of its projects have even achieved critical acclaim, such as the last seasons of Star Wars: Rebels which have won 2 Saturn Awards, the universally positive-reviewed The Outer Worlds role-playing game, and the recent high-end game cinematic for PS5 exclusive title – Demon’s Souls Remake. With so many accolades earned, Sparx* has long been one of the most desirable places to work for many local 3D artists and animators. In fact, it is also an attractive prospect for expats, too. Of course, Sparx* is not just about having fun all the time; every Sparxer is a talented, driven professional always seeking to top their personal best in every new project. To help us achieve their goals, we regularly update our skillsets with regular training workshops, ensuring that we are always well-equipped to tackle any project that comes our way.

What we have created in the end is a fantastic working environment for everyone at Sparx*, filled with people who are passionate about their work and are more than willing to lend a hand. The relationships forged here transcend the boundaries of work; to many, Sparx* is their second family.
